About the Modern Mid
We've been making mid-lengths since we began in 2015 and they have bought a lot of joy to surfers of all abilities. All our mid lengths borrow design elements from performance shortboards but with a lower rocker and additional length they get into waves earlier, generate more speed and draw beautiful arcs on big open faces.
Recommended for:
Surfers of all abilities surfing all types of waves who want to increase their wave count, do a few cheetah 5's and explore parts of the wave that are out of reach on performance short boards. Also a great option for beginners and intermediate surfers who are getting off their foamies.
