Our Keel fish is based heavily on the classic 60s Lis fish, a short, fun option for medium sized waves. This board has a lot of volume further forward so needs to be ridden 4 to 8 inches shorter than you are tall and don’t be afraid to add a few more litres than your short boards for extra speed and paddle power. Our fish has a single to double concave with a little bit of V through the tail.
Recommended for:
The surfer looking to find new lines in small to head high surf. This isn’t one to plant the back foot on the tail and flap up and down. Loosen up those knees and shimmy forward to feel the Keel Fish do its thing.
